Well i thought i would write this as am a big fan of maria..but what a nightmare year shes having! Its all gone wrong since loseing to serena in australia,injurys and the serve being a big problem.When maria won the us open she had a great serve and that caused justine henin big problems at the time,but since getting the shoulder problem has never served as well,and has changed the action of the serve,but the way she served in the 3rd round of the us open this year there is still alot of work to do.It seems that when marias serve isent working the rest of her game falls apart,i thought we would see a good year for maria this year but it just has not happend.Maria said in the press confrence after the match that her father did not leave when she was 5-3 down,but he clearly did and everyone picked up on it.Maria really needs to have a team in place that supports her every step of the way,her dad is there,but i dont see many others.I hope that the 4 week break she has now she can sort her serve out and gain the confidence she used too have.She is still very young and i hope next year we get the real maria back..A WINNER.
