Myskina was out with a foot injury (big toe), then she got pregers and I think it was this year when she gave birth. She's been doing some TV hostings back in Moscow. Not heard from her ever since.

I would not expect it.

Myskina is well-situated with the Moscow sports establishment. I'm pretty sure she has a regular commentator position from which she's been on maternity leave. She might try tournament tennis again if the recurrent foot problem permits, but I really don't see her on the full Tour.

I didn't mind her, until she started saying stuff about Masha and how she wasn't going to play Fed Cup if Masha was playing!!!  That made me dislike her, but I don't mind her apart from that!

True, that was uncalled-for. And a little odd because Anastasia had recently praised Masha--actually I think Myskina was pissed at Yuri at that point. After that, the Western press got onto it and--because Elena D is Myskina's friend--thought they could lure Dementieva into the story. That was when Elena, at a Fed Cup press conference, put her foot down about that sort of talk--from press or players. "There is no dissention on the Russian team."  Shows how loose talk can get out of hand.

I could understand if she was angry with Yuri cos he is sometimes a bit crazy!!  But she shouldn't have said she didn't want to play if Maria did!  Oh yeah I still like Elena though, even though she did once complain about Maria's grunting, which annoyed me a tad, but it is understandable I suppose.  Anyway, when I got her autograph at Wimbledon this year she was really friendly and smiling a lot - she seemed really nice, so I like her now!  She's probably in my Top 10 favourite female players now!!

See this is the type of things i like seeing. Not the part about suicidal thoughts. but the part where they express that tennis is their life. I think it'd be interesting if capriati returns, i always liked seeing a great competitor like her on court. 

As for Myskina, back in 2004 i sorta sensed a bit of jelousy from her towards Maria. Maybe because Maria recieved more attention when she won wimbledon. Than when myskina won the french open.

Yeah Nesli and Paul!!  It's true!  Elena looked at me too!!  You know normally they just look down at whatever they are signing, but she looked me in the eyes!!!!  It was cool.  That's when I was like 'I like her now!'  I know a stupid reason to like her!!  I also watched one of her matches - it was on one of the outer courts, and I was cheering and clapping for her!  I can't remember who she was playing, but I went on the same day that Maria got kicked out , so whoever Elena was playing on that day is the match I saw!!  She just signed a piece of paper in my notebook - I'm boring, I was gonna buy a big tennis ball for the players to sign but they were massive and I didn't think I would honestly get many autographs, but I got 18 autographs!!!  I didn't get Maria's though, I missed her by a few seconds - I saw the back of her walking down the stairs into some tunnel   That upset me for days!!!  The main reason I went was to meet Masha, and I just missed meeting her by a couple of seconds!  Dammit!!  But I did take some photo's of her practicing, even though she was farrrr away!!  But I did get Andy Roddick , Jelena Jankovic , Roger Federer, Richard Gasquet , Andy Murray, Nadia Petrova.......autographs!!  And I got Roger Federer's pen!!  He chucked it and I dived on the floor to get it, I am not quite sure why, cos I am not really a fan of his!!  Hahaha!  And I didn't get to see Novak either cos he got kicked out the day before I went!   But it was still a great day, even though Masha and Andy Roddick got kicked out on the same day!   Anyway, yeah so that was my day at Wimbledon - the best day ever!  It would have been so much better had I met Masha though - it would have been a dream come true!!

By the way I have pictures so if Paul or Nesli or anyone wants pictures you can send me a private message and I can send you some pictures of whichever player you want, provided that I saw them of course!!  I do have pictures of Elena though Paul!
