Yeah I caught the second set of the match and she looked good out there! I'm happy with how she played!! Well done JJ!! Hopefully she can build up her confidence before the French Open, cos then I think she is gonna be one of the major contenders for the French Open title! Ajdeee JJ!!!

Ohhhh JJ!!!  When she won those first 2 matches so easily, I was thinking gone are the times of the stressful 3 setters, then BAM here we go again!!  I think she is seriously trying to give me a heart attack!!  Anyways still very proud of the fact that she fought and found a way to win the match!! Ajdeeeee Jelenaaaaa!!!!

YEAH!! JJ win Marbella!!! Congratulations, Jelena!!!!!! Maybe this gave you back the confidence and the motivation that you really need. You can take this clay season. It`s for u!!! I want JJ to be the champ at RG cos I know that she can do it!!!! AJMOOOOO!!!! And sure I want her to defend Rome!!!!

She did it!!! She won Marbella!!! Yessss!! Ahhhhh I am soooooooooooooooo HAPPYYYYYYYYYY!!!!  I knew she could do it!!! Oh it just fills me with joy seeing her holding that weird and wonderful trophy hehe!! Wooohoooo!! CONGRATULATIONS JELENA!!!! This victory is so much better cos she hasn't been playing so well lately, so the fact that she won means so much more!! Well done girl!! Gosh it's so great to finally see a player I love playing well on the damn clay!!! I am really hopeful for the French Open now - I really hope she can get her first slam there!! Hehehe queen of reactions - I like that!! Hehehe I know I tend to get a bit too excited  . And this was only a tournament win, oh gosh imagine if she wins the French Open, I am gonna be going completely crazy!!! I'll be like when Masha and Nole won the Aussie Open in 2008 - I was crying my eyes out, shouting, running around the house and jumping around waving my arms all over the place, like a lunatic. Thank God I don't actually know these players for real, imagine me sitting in their box at Wimbledon with their friends and family, screaming and shouting like a mad person haha I would probably get thrown out of the court hehe!

You may have seen that I won my first title of the year in Marbella. It
was a beautiful place: nice beach, nice weather and really friendly
people. I couldn't ask for anything more while playing at a tournament.
It was my first time playing on clay this year, and after losing early
in Miami I had time to practice on clay, adjust my footwork and find my
rhythm again, so I was pleased with how things turned out. I played
some good matches. I'm feeling a lot more confident on the court. I
feel like I'm getting tougher and my game is coming back together. I'm
really looking forward to my next tournaments.
I had a lot of fun in Marbella, which is the most important thing
for me. Not just during matches, but off the court as well. You have to
stay positive. Sometimes there are difficult periods where it's normal
to be down a little bit, but those are the times you grow as a person
and as a player. It helps you. It makes you stronger for the future.
Since Marbella I've just
been practicing a lot, trying to get my movement back. The last few
months that's what I've struggled with, as well as my timing, but I've
been working really hard for the clay court season. I've been working
with a new fitness trainer, he's from Spain, and my coach is Spanish
too. I did quite well in my first clay tournament and I hope I can keep
improving.
This weekend I'm playing Fed Cup.. I'm really excited about it.
Tennis is an individual sport most of the time, but in Fed Cup you're
on a team and I really enjoy the whole experience. I love playing for
my country too, of course! We play Spain this week. I hope we can pull
off another win and take Serbia into the World Group A for the first
time!
After Fed Cup I'm playing
in Stuttgart. I won there last year, but it was on hardcourts in the
fall, and this year it's on clay in the spring! So it's a bit
different, but it's the same venue and everything else. When you're
going to the same city, it feels like the same tournament. I feel like
the defending champion anyway! I really like that tournament a lot.
Everything is so convenient and easy going. I'm looking forward to
doing my best there and hopefully defending my title. Then I'm playing
Rome, which is one of my favorite tournaments. I'll be going for my
third title in a row there. I always love Rome, it's really a very
special place for me.
My mom is doing better. She's coming to Fed Cup. She hasn't been
travelling at all lately but it'll be nice to see her in Lleida. Then,
she's coming with me to Stuttgart. My father might be coming to
Stuttgart too. I love having my family and the people who are close to
me around. They're good company and you get quite lonely when you're
travelling, especially if you're not playing so well. You can always
use support. Family is so important: my No.1 priority.
I also have to tell you
about a commercial I did for my sponsor, ANTA. The billboards are
apparently up in Belgrade already... that's what my friend told me,
anyway! I'm not sure where else they'll go up. It'll be nice to see how
they've turned out. A commercial will be out in a few months, too.. I'm
really excited about it. It's something new and different!
Also, Happy Easter to everyone who celebrated it! I wasn't at home but
when I am, we color the eggs and everything... I did eat some chocolate
eggs though :) I like any type of chocolate. I eat anything with
chocolate. I could live on sweets. Food is fuel for energy, though, and
you can't be getting your energy from chocolate! I've really had to
watch out :))

I`m really happy with this blog. I love it. Jelena is great. Seems that all is coming back to normal :))))) Her mum is well and she said that regained confidence and feels better on court. Very good signs!!! :))))) I also love the fact that her family will be there supporting her!!! I think this makes her play better. Her parents are very important for her like for Novak. Also I`m looking forward to seeing the commercial cos I think it`s smth funny or anyway smth nice... I know you`ll play some great matches and you`ll show us good tennis!! :)))) Looking forward to seeing you back on the court. You`ll win them all!!! Good luck in Fed Cup!!!
