Yeah I agree with you Neslihan!!  I would much prefer for JJ to be number 1 than Ana!  And loMASHAlo I really do not want either of the Williams sisters to be the number 1 - that would be the worst possible scenario for me!!

yeah, I know it's a worst thing but be ready coz I think it's just matter of time and S. Williams be # 1 coz in my opnion the best players this year untill now are Serena, Safina, Elena D. and Radwanska......my point is serena in the top 5 aready ,so if she wins Olympics or USO and a couple of big tournaments she'll be # 1....

Jelena Jankovic will be a popular #1. She is a hard working player on the WTA tour and has been very consistent with her perfomances on all surfaces. It will be strange though that she will be the first #1 who has never made a final of a Grand Slam. At least Kim Cljisters made the finals before eventually winning one. Maybe Jelena will have her chance at this years US Open (as the name implies - it is very Open!!!) 

I love Jelena like all Serbian players (Of course I'm from Serbia!). She's very nice. And I'm glad that she fanally can taste how is feeling to be number 1 on the world!!! She really deserves it because she works hard! Yeah, she doesn't have any grand slam, but it doesn't matter, she will have it- I believe in it!!! She has many ingures this year because last year she played every tournament and her body is tired... I love Jelena like Ana Ivanovic, but I don't think that she is better tennis player than Ana. I think that Ana is much stronger than Jelena phisicly, but JJ is mentality stronger than Ana. Ana is more beautiful than JJ, but JJ is more good-looking than Ana- Jelena has a perfect figure.

In Serbia on September or October- I don't know exactly- in theatres will be given the film about JJ, film about her life...All Serbian newspapers are writing about that!!!!!

Wow - they're making a film about her life!!  I didn't know that.  I really want to see that!!  I hope they show it here too and not only in Serbia, or hopefully it will be on the internet somewhere!
