well prijatelj is for male....and prijateljica is for female:)))) I told you that Croatian is really tought, one of the toughest languages in the world, we have 7 cases for nouns and for female and male is also different for each word. And you should see verbs, believe me you don't want to know.

well in Serbian must be different too...probably she told you so cos it's easier.....I thought that in Serbia friend it's DRUG everyone in Serbia ( who I know ) are saying drug for friend, and not prijatelj.  They are some differences between Serbian and Croatian most in gramatics ( for example: world= svet ( Serbian ), svijet ( Croatian ), and also in Serbian it's izvinite and on Croatian it's oprostite. But don't worry about this I will understand and Serbian Serbian it's easier than Croatian because they are no - ije, and - je....here we put -je or - ije and in Serbia is always just - e.....and here are thousands of words with -ije, or - je and you should now how to spell it, most of the people in croatia don't know that for each word, cos it's hard, that's why Serbian is much easier here it's just -e you don't have to worry what you'll put. Hehehe:)
