I can hardly believe that RTL cut off the Luxembourg tournament at 16:00 GMT. As a result, I couldn't see Elena win today. Likewise, Eurosport screwed over Linz--caught Vera Z's matchpoint & that was about it. Jeez. Between the both of them, I've seen slightly more than a whole big four matches between the two tournaments. (Star Sports may have carried more Luxembourg but my TvAnts wasn't connecting today. That happens sometimes.) Oh, well, you do what you can...

You are welcome. Happy to post that. They will broadcast Doha live 14:00-19:15 GMT starting Tuesday Nov 4. On Wednesday, Nov 5, there will be an hour of replay 13:00-14:00 GMT before live play starts again.  

Paul, do you think that in those 5 hrs of live broadcasting they will be able to cover all singles matches? I mean is it possible that they can show at least 1 set of every match? And I'm talking now about the round robin matches cos if I'm not wrong there are going to be played 12 RR matches in 3 days right?

And I was also wondering how the draws are made for the 2 groups, does the ranking matter? Here is the same like in the GS so that 1. and 2. seeds can't meet til the finals?

If not "all", they should show most. Broadcasting begins daily with start of play at 17:00 Doha time--which (in November) is 14:00 GMT & 15:00 CET. So you see, five hours runs to about 22:00 in the Doha night. Now, here is the schedule:

josedz9: Yes, but--the Direct TV/Dish Network/Tennis Channel options are more problematic for viewers in the States than they sound. For example, I don't have any of them because I won't give up the Time-Warner Cable system, which is also my Internet access (and in this region is superior to DSL even). I'll tell you more about the problems as we discuss the YEC access.

It was Erakovic's third doubles title,  but also Cirstea's second. I think she should hang with doubles, but it's premature to conclude that's her future. If Marina were unable to speed up & cover the singles court better, yeah, maybe. But it may be there are a few specific problems that she may be able to address.

So is there anything on today?? Right now I'm like a junky needing a dose... I'll take anything!

As I've explained before, TTC coverage is useless to 9 out of 10 Americans. Reason that they have only a ten percent market share is that they are carried almost entirely by small satellite systems like Direct TV and Dish Network. Even committed fans like me are unlikely to sacrifice our good cable & DSL hookups for tennis alone. Also, they never stream anything except the early rounds of Roland Garros and have, so far, kept the pirates from cracking their feeds.

Now, this may change. I understand that the still-expensive high-def cable packages may include TTC. But for YEC, this time anyway, most serious American fans are going to be as dependent on Eurosport and on any Arab networks that may be streaming as anyone else in the world.

Interesting that it doesn't even occur to WTA to post the Eurosport schedule, isn't it?
