Who is your favorite Russian paleyr? Gretzky: Of all times player or a current one?
The Current one... Gretzky: hmmm... I think it is Ovechkin, Yes, no question, it is Ovechkin. He is playing with such energy and verve, I can't help but enjoy watching him on the ice. But I have to say Malkin is close second. Maybe he didn't show his potential in the first game, but he will soon.

Ovechkin and his team Russia has a chance to win the gold but there will be a strong battle. By the way team Russia lost his last match agaisnt Slovenia after extra time period and penalties. But the battle continues and they are going to play other matches.

Re: Maria Sharapova&Sport in Russia
The Russian women's national curling team has defeated Sweden in the preliminary stage match at the Games in Vancouver. Russia sensationally defeated the Olympic champions in Turin, who had not incurred a single defeat in four games, with a score of 10:1. For Russian curling this victory was the second in an Olympic tournament after success in the match with Denmark. In total, team Russia has competed in six matches in Vancouver, four of which we have lost. Olga Andrianova is in 7 th place. Today Russia will compete with the team from Japan. The semi-finals will consist of the four best teams.

Russia athlete Yelena Isinbayeva became the winner of international tournament "ZEPTER – Pole Vault Stars Meeting", which was held in Donetsk (Ukraine) on Saturday. The multiple world record holder has a height of 4 meters 85 centimeters. As always the Russian has tried to break the world record, but the height of 5.01 meters has evaded her. Russia athletes win the America's Cup in gymnastics
Russian Maxim Devyatovsky has proven to be the best in the America's Cup in gymnastics. Competitions were held in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts. All around, during this season's first international tournament Russian athletes scored the highest number of points in comparison with their rivals: 90.600 points. "Silver" went to Jonathan Horton and third place, to yet another American: Chris Brooks. For the women first was won by the U.S. spokeswoman Rebecca Bross. Second place in the competition ended going to another American, Alexander Raysman. And the "Bronze"? Why Jessica Lopez of Venezuela of course.
