    Re: JUSTINE HENIN

Talking again about Justine's retirement isn't something new. But the women tennis really sucks today with no player being capable of dominating like Justine did the last few years. Who can pretend to play the 4 GS finals or win 2GS a year? Maria is a great champion but she often got troubles with her injuries and IMO Maria doesn't have yet the maturity of a champion like Justine. The other girls really suck. Ivanovic didn't do anything good after her GS win. She plays like a debutante. Her #1 ranking is just a joke. Jankovic is not able to reach the semi of any important tournament. And she's #2. Another joke! Kuzie is like a lost orphan now that Henin, her mentor, is gone. It's a shame the women tennis has this situation today.
I'm crazy as hell.... Crazy about Maria !!!

    Re: JUSTINE HENIN

Well, my friend, i must admit i feel very sad. One of the founding-fathers of "Pink Floyd" died yesterday. Richard "Rick" Wright will never play his keyboards again or write fantastic lyrics like those for "The great gig in the sky" on one of their best albums, "Dark Side Of The Moon". It hit me hard, Ali, and i mean HARD. He will be missed.

Hi, Tiger. Great to see you back. Yeah, that is a serious bummer. I don't care for that death business--don't like it at all.

    Re: JUSTINE HENIN

Hello my friend. Great writing u again. Just flew over the site, do that from time to time, nostalgia i guess. Missin' it, u know, but then...like the song of Pink Floyd, "A saucer full of secrets"; have a lot of saucers around meWink Elena is doing great isn't she? Really hope she can take that top-seed. Of all players she's the ONLY ONE who deserves it and i'm sure she'll take it. Her game keeps improvin' and the way she moves, jees, what a pretty ballerina. One of these days, Paul. Bye.

    At S-E WTA site:

    Henin Academy Hits Florida

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL, USA - She may have left the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, but you may soon see flashes of her talent, speed and fight in future generations of players. Justine Henin and her lifelong coach, Carlos Rodríguez, opened their first 6th Sense Tennis Academy in Belgium almost a year ago, and this weekend they will open their second - on American soil...

Okay, the Yankee dollar, of course. Doing business in the States can be worth putting up with the claims that we own you and being chased by every hustler's scam. (In Florida, the tennis bums drop from trees.) Stick out tongue Actually, I assumed that the other personnel named will run the place. Neither Justine nor Carlos have shown any inclination to hang out in the Yankeeland.

Here's the school's URL. This is the main page--there's an English link in the upper right:

    Re: JUSTINE HENIN

I wish she announces her comeback so much... I miss watching her play. Sha was really unique on court... And what a brilliant backhand she has...

The deffinition of luck? Then when opportunity meets preparation. Namely when you prepare yourself your whole life for something, and at a certain moment it happens and you are happy, you take advantage of it and live the dream.

    Re: JUSTINE HENIN

I just saw the 'no strings' episode with Justine on TV the other day. I somehow got to know who Justine really is. I just wish I saw it before she retired so I could have cheered for her. She's a genuinely nice person!

There's a part there where she goes to the tennis center that she and Carlos owns, which I guess is related to what you guys are talking about here.

here are the links if anyone wants to watch them:

    part 1

    part 2

    part 3
