Dinara just threw that one away, was all that was. Confused Venus was playing like crap & didn't particularly raise her level of play--Dinara just came apart. Bet Elena does better. Stick out tongue

Oh well, congrats to Verochka! Party!!!

Dinara should have won that match. Things turned around so fast. One minute she was serving for the 1st set, the next minute Venus had match point, from then on you new Dinara lost it.

Did you guys see the very weird, suspicious, almost malicious thing that happened during JJ and Ana's match??? Ana called for an injury timeout then the medical person came, they had a little chit chat, no treatment, just a little chat, then Ana stood up and continued to play. After that, JJ didn't know what just happened and lost the next two points and eventually the game. What happened there? Hmm

Oh, I almost forgot this one, Verdasco was there sitting beside Ana's mom so I guess the rumor aroung the two are true.

Yeah I saw that thing with Ana and the medical person. Indifferent  I have no idea what happened, first she suddenly stopped in the middle of the point and I was like 'WTF?' and then she called the medical person and I was like 'OMG she is injured!!!!' and then they just had a quick chat, no treatment whatsoever, and then she got up and played as if there was absolutely nothing wrong with her!! Confused  Very, very weird.

Yep I saw Verdasco Broken Heart  I wasn't sure about the rumour at first, but after seeing him there supporting her today, I think it is true.  But I really hope it isnt!! Sad

Yep, Safina just blew it--one of those chronic failures to close a set. Then she came apart. Venus didn't improve. Dinara lost.

Ana's thing was presumably a stomach ache. Look, it was JJ 63 53 & deuce--I figured Ana was stalling to get a grip on her nerves. Hey--in those conditions, her gut may well have twisted up. Stick out tongue

She blew it big time! She was up 4-1 and I thought it was gonna be a trashing. SadSuper Angry

hehehe, stalling the inevitable. Stick out tongue Even the commentators were puzzled with what happened, so puzzled that they forgot to cover up for her! hehehe

hehehe, 'Radek too good for Ana' now that is clearly a joke!!!! hehehe

Anyone watching it live??? Ana did it again!!! She took another medical time out without getting any treatment whatsoever!!! ...but to her credit, she really looks like she has a problem. What's up with her? She's already sweating profusely at the start of her first service game and by the time she took the time out she looked spent. Looks like she's having morning sickness or something and Verdasco is there!!!

I just heard one of the commentators said Ana was dizzy cos of dehydration, that's their excuse.

Vera won!!!! Wooohooo!!!!!!! ... did so without taking an 'injury' time out!!! Davai Russia!!!! lol

Re: Year End Championships, Doha, Nov 4-9

Another medical time out?!!!  She is starting to piss me off with that now, as if her stupid fist pumps after every single point she wins wasn't bad enough, now she keeps taking medical time outs and getting no treatment!! Angry  Hehehe morning sickness, I will wish for that, then she can maybe retire from tennis to look after her kid!!! Stick out tongue  And damn I forgot to watch for Verdasco Sad  Oh well I found some very HOT pictures of him today and so I can just look at them, actually that is a better alternative, cos this way I don't have to see Ana!!! Zip it!

hehehe, Ferdasco  reminds me of C.Ronaldo; they kinda look alike.

Those time outs are also starting to get on my nerves, it's called MEDICAL time out not COUNSELING time out!!! What's weird is the fact that she wins the following points with winners immediately after. sooooooooooo FRUSTRATING.

Venus and Elena's match are now on the way!!! Go Elena!!!

Noooooooooooo!!!  No, no, no don't say that Beni!!!  I hate Ronaldo!! Ick!  Verdasco is wayyyyyyyy better looking than that arrogant, ugly moron!!!

Well at least Ana lost the match, cos if she won, I would wonder if it was cos of her 'medical' time outs!!  If she does that against JJ again (if they have to play against eachother later on in the tourney, which I doubt cos Ana probably won't qualify Party!!!) then I will go mad!!! Angry

And WTF?  Dehydration?  How come no-one else is feeling the same?  It's only her!!  I don't buy that!!  Anyway if that is what she has, just drink some damn water!!!! Angry

Anyways, gooooooooooooooooo Elena!!!!  I reckon this might be a tight 3 setter!!

Results til now - Wednesday, November 5, 2008

    ROUND ROBIN

    White Group
    (8) Vera Zvonareva (RUS) d. (4) Ana Ivanovic (SRB) 63 67(5) 64

    Maroon Group
    (7) Venus Williams (USA) d. (5) Elena Dementieva (RUS) 64 46 63

Serena and Dinara are still on court, Serena took the first set 6-4 and is now leading 4-1

About Ana's 'injury timeouts' I have to say that yesterday when she stopped playing was because of dizziness and dehydration too - at least that's what she said in the press conference. But about today, what can I say, it's really weird what's happening... Our TV commentators said that dehydration is possible because of the very humid atmosphere. Dee, don't worry she will definteley not play against JJ cos really I can so no chance of her qualifying Smile. Paul, I am very sorry cos of Elena, I didn't see very much of the match but I think she tryied her best. Maybe she isn't used to the conditions yet?
