Probably just as well. Embarrassed I don't typically make those remarks but I was saying I like her butt.

More importantly, she's capable of closing a set & match--not fooling around and begging for a defeated opponent to pull a "big turn-around". (When that happens, anymore, I feel cheated by both players.)

Yeah and unfortunately that's gonna be Sorana Cirstea I think... She already lost the first set 6-2.

But anyways she reached semis and I think that's a really good result for her, she's just 18 and there's always room for improvementWink

    Re: Fortis Championships Luxembourg

Sorana did quite well in this tournament. She's coming right along. Cool Well, my bet is on Lenochka for Sunday. Nothing against Caroline but I don't think it's quite her time yet. Still, she's played tougher matches than Elena at Luxembourg...

They're replaying a 25-min wrap-up show a few minutes after each hour (with Elena, Sorana, Laura & others.)

    http://wwitv.com/a1/7581.asx or

    mms://streaming.newmedia.lu/telehighres on Windows Media Player

"Luxembourg RTL" is also streaming well on TvAnts.

I'll put the Sunday info on Live Streams. Cool

Slav’sya, otyechyestvo... Party!!! hail, Lenochka! The officials said it was the best match they've ever had at Luxembourg. Me, I didn't enjoy it that much. Huh? Golden Girl cutting it that close is hard on my nerves. Anyway, congrats to Caroline also--for coming way too close. Cool I'll enjoy watching them more on the RTL replay show, which should start about 19:10 GMT.

Specifically, "Sing to the Motherland..." Ilnur from Kazan advises those are the old lyrics--along with ones I won't quote 'cause they're too "political". I figure Lenochka would like them--her tennis club being the Red Army Club and all. (Maybe why the WTA Yanks don't like her?) Cool

Thanks, Ilnur. Cool Леночка -- is that correct?

For any who don't know: Elena, Yelena, Jelena are all forms of Helena or Helen -- specifically a baptismal name invoking Helena the mother of Constantine.

Ilnur, your avatar drew my attention to the Kazan 2013 Summer Universiade. My, my--look at those proposed tennis facilities in the foreground. Big Smile What is known about tennis events at these colligiate games?

Thank you, Ilnur. I would love to come. Realistically, much would have to change in my circumstances for that to be possible, but one never knows. But I will certainly keep up with the preparations & development. Cool
