Ana was greeted by thousands of supporters when she visited Belgrade yesterday. They crammed into the city's parliament square to welcome the world No.1 and Roland Garros to her hometown. Ana later said: "It was a long day, very tiring, but so much fun. I will never forget it.

Was it only me or does someone else wonder where this girl learnt her English? It would be great if someone could advise Ana to improve her English accent. If she's supposed to become a megastar, she'd better speak clearly and change her pronunciation.

are you joking!? that accent is part of her charm, i actually love it, i wouldn't want her to trie to change it, and her english is verry good.

is never her plan to become a star at all, but ppl don't mind her accent, they usually like it  

Why is her accent or the fact she speaks 'broken English' even an issue? She should be judged on her tennis ability, her forehand is one of the best in the game. She is also the French Open champion.

I understand her English, she just speaks a little fast at times, usually because she has just played a tennis match and is in a europhic mood.
